Imation launches FlashGO! World's first USB single slot flash memory card reader/writer supporting all flash and memory card formats

3rd December, 2001, Hong Kong - Imation Hong Kong Limited today announced the launch of the world's first USB single-slot memory card device designed to read all formats of flash memory card, including Compact Flash Type I and II, Smart Media, MultimediaCard, Secure Digital, Memory Stick and Microdrive. It adopts USB interface and with hot swappable feature. The drive is powered directly from the computer through the USB interface and has low power consumption.

The increasing popularity of digital camera, digital video recorder, PDA and MP3 Player accelerates the growth of information digitalization.
