Secure erase data in media
To successfully degauss media, degausser must have a gauss strength that is equal or higher (usually 2 times) than the coercivity of the destructed media.
For example: LTO media, you need a degausser that can produce gauss strength of 1850 X 2 = 3700 gauss.

Erasing Method: BULGER
BULGER is a short for BULKerase by Giant Energy Ringing. For degaussing, the high energy stored in a large-capacity condenser is converted by a special air-core coil into strong ringing magnetic flux that attenuates to zero. All magnetic storage media will be set to initial state.
